Linda Boyle: The Fauci protégé who forgot to follow the Covid data now changes her tune

Remember Rochelle Walensky? She was the 19th director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, serving from 2021 until June 2023 – the height of the Covid years. At first, she assured Americans that the vaccinated didn’t need masks because they were “100% protected” from Covid. If you got the shot, she said, you wouldn’t get sick and you couldn’t spread the virus.

Then, almost overnight, the message changed. Suddenly everyone needed to wear masks again – even the fully vaccinated. Walensky pushed for school closures, business shutdowns, and that unforgettable six-foot social distancing rule. Remember the stickers on restaurant floors and chairs reminding us to “keep our distance”? None of it stopped the spread as promised.

Meanwhile, corporations rushed to impose vaccine mandates on employees, and in some cities you couldn’t enter a restaurant without flashing a vaccine “passport.” Even universities forced students to take the jab – young adults who were never at high risk of serious illness, yet especially young men faced new risks like myocarditis and pericarditis. The worst part? The CDC knew about these side effects and kept quiet.

Social media joined in, censoring anyone who dared to question Walensky’s shifting claims or the CDC’s data.

And now, in a remarkable twist, Walensky has finally admitted “the entire agency essentially never considered the possibility that they were wrong.”

Of course, Walensky also recently stated that today’s CDC’s vaccine information was no longer entirely trustworthy. She maintains the new Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and “vaccine skeptics” are altering the organization and points the public to professional trade group recommendations instead.

Walensky stated, “What I can say is the vaccine information on the CDC is not necessarily that of the subject matter experts or the CDC, but there’s a lot of other great information on this CDC website that I don’t believe has been tainted with as of yet.” She was responding to a question at a media briefing in Boston, calling her former colleagues heroes who are doing their best.

So, who is Rochelle Walensky? Walensky is an infectious disease doctor. She worshipped Dr. Anthony Fauci. She invited him to Massachusetts General Hospital for grand rounds. Upon meeting him and shaking his hand, she stated she did not want to wash her hands afterwards. That’s somewhat weird to me, but Fauci sure got the message. Not only did he make her the next CDC director, but the National Institute of Health suddenly made a promise to her husband for a $16 million contract.

Had Loren Walensky had contracts with NIH before? No. This was his first one, but not his last. Her husband is now on the “gravy train” with federal research contracts on pandemic preparedness. That would give him another $55 million taxpayer money to play with.

Meanwhile, Dr. Rochelle is on her own gravy train. She no longer practices medicine but instead is a lecturer on law at Harvard Law School. She also serves on the board of trustees for the Doris Duke Foundation and the Carter Center. She now has become more vocal concerning the CDC and its changes in policy. No surprise there.

Wow, just think. A suck-up comment to Fauci led to an incredible gravy train for her and her husband. Well played Rochelle!

The “follow the science” gurus never considered they could be wrong. Let that sink in. They terrorized our lives for four years. They ruined our personal relationships with family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. They let our loved ones die alone in hospitals. They destroyed our trust in the medical profession. They stole our children’s futures by closing schools. They pitted us against one another. In effect, they divided us as a nation, as a people, and that has been a lasting effect which, to this day, divides us even more.

And the “follow the science” government experts now hide from the havoc they wreaked on Americans. Will they ever have the courage to apologize publicly? So much for “follow the science” government bureaucrats. Tired of all the noise? Come join us this Saturday at the Alaskans4PersonalFreedom conference at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium from 08:00 am til 6:00 pm.

  1. There’s no Arrogance like DR. Arrogance. I worked in the medical field for decades and witnessed it firsthand

  2. I do not want to see this awful woman again unless she in front of a tribunal. The amount of suffering she is directly responsible for is immense. Unless she repents, a curse on her house.

Ty for the article Linda. I always read your column.
