FAFO: Trump is sending in the troops to Portland to protect ICE from Antifa

On Saturday, President Donald Trump announced that he has ordered US troops to deploy to Portland, Ore., as well as to Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities nationwide. The directive was announced through a Truth Social post and authorizes Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to use “full force, if necessary” to protect federal assets. In Portland, Antifa and associated groups have been attacking the ICE facilities constantly and the mayor has provided no adequate policing.

Trump described Portland as “war ravaged” and said the deployment comes in response to escalating attacks by Antifa and other “domestic terrorists.”

He called the move a necessity to ensure that ICE operations are not disrupted and federal properties remain protected.

The President’s statement noted that the decision followed a request from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who cited reports of ICE facilities facing violent protests and sustained attempts to obstruct immigration enforcement.

Earlier this week, a tour bus belonging to rapper-entertainer Ice Cube was torched in downtown Portland, an incident that the administration has linked to Antifa-related violence.

The scope of the directive gives federal troops authority to safeguard Portland as well as any ICE sites deemed under threat. It also explicitly authorizes the use of lethal force if required to counter attacks on federal personnel or facilities.

Rose City Antifa was founded in 2007 in Portland and is the oldest known active antifa group in the country, and is also the first to coin the moniker “antifa,” as a descriptor.

  1. The “city of roses” will never be rosy again.
Mayor Wheeler has gone out of his way to make drastic changes to harbor ANTIFA as the replacement for the rose parade which isn’t safe to attend anymore.

Gender confused trans Moses Lopez was under stress when he stabbed cabdriver Reese Lawhon to death who was trying to find his residence on Easter Sunday.
Lopez refused an apology to Reese’s family and received a plea deal for manslaughter while the prosecutor dismissed other threats of violent assault.
He will be out soon and Reese’s family will see him back on the streets of the “Rose City”.

Forrest Dunbar was cheerleading his family members on facebook for joining in on the 2020 riots when they attempted to burn down the Mark Hatfield federal building while employees locked inside were afraid to exit the building.

I avoid Portland at all cost when traveling. The smell of human feces on public sidewalks are unbearable.
