Trump medical report: Heart of a 65-year-old

President Donald Trump completed a follow-up medical evaluation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he was found to have a “cardiac age” of a 65-year-old, according to a memo released by the White House on Friday. That’s a heart 14 years younger than his actual age.

The 79-year-old president underwent a comprehensive evaluation that included advanced imaging, laboratory testing, and preventive screenings conducted by a team of specialists.

“President Trump continues to demonstrate excellent overall health,” wrote White House physician Dr. Sean P. Barbabella in the memo. “His cardiac age — a validated measure of cardiovascular vitality via ECG — was found to be approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age. He continues to maintain a demanding daily schedule without restriction.”

The physician further noted that “President Donald J. Trump remains in exceptional health, exhibiting strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical performance.”

The White House said the evaluation was part of Trump’s routine preventive care and that no new medical concerns were identified.
